A Living Sacrifice is inspired by the passage in Romans 12:1

 

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

 

The performance is about offering both my body and dance to God. It also serves as an example of how to take the Theokinesis pedagogy into the realm of performance and choreography.
