This seminar falls within the framework of the question of dance in Christian worship or outside of worship, a subject that has taken on a global dimension in contemporary times.

Sophie Lespinasse, who devotes her life, research, and heart to this subject- will introduce us to a great Christian mystic, Teresa of Avila, who incorporated dance into her monastic life.  And more than that, after a brief historical summary, we will be surprised to learn – with testimonies  - that dance is indeed present in some monastic communities today...​​
